Steven Leibowitz is a Democrat running for state representative in the 1st Barnstable, which includes parts of Brewster, Dennis, Yarmouth, and Barnstable. Steven has been a Brewster resident for over 20 years and is a proud member of the community with two children who went through the Barnstable public school system. Steven wants to fight for progressive causes in the Barnstable area, like a $15 minimum wage, paid family leave, and a fair share tax. He was raised with his three brothers by a single mother in Boston and understands the struggles that can face families in Massachusetts. Steven wants to make sure that every family has the ability and opportunity to succeed.
