Segun Idowu is a candidate for state representative in the 14th Suffolk district, which includes parts of Ward 18 and Ward 20 in Boston. Segun is a lifelong resident of the Rosindale and Hyde Park communities. After graduating from Boston Latin Academy, he attended Morehouse College. He then returned to Boston to serve as a legislative aide in the city council. Segun has also been an advocate his entire life. He served as the 3rd Vice President of the Boston chapter of NAACP, and he lead the effort to equip the Boston police with body cams. Segun will work to make sure the voices of his constituents are heard on Beacon Hill.
