In Elizabeth’s words:
I was raised in Lynn, attended Lynn Public Schools and graduated from Lynn English High School. I currently work as an Immigration Specialist in the office of United States Senator Elizabeth Warren.
I have a teenage daughter and a 4-year-old son with special needs enrolled in the Lynn Public School system. I have always been a parent who is actively engaged in making sure that my children have the best experience possible in school. Additionally, I have also served as a passionate advocate for my four-year-old son within the Special Education Department.
Throughout my career, I have always tried to give back to the city of Lynn. I have done that by serving on the Board of the Lynn Community Health Center, The Lynn Hispanic Scholarship Fund and through the Immigration work I performed at Congressman Tierney’s office and continue performing at Senator Warren’s office. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Salem State University and recently obtained a Graduate Certificate in Gender, Leadership and Public Policy from UMASS Boston. My passion, experiences, and qualifications mentioned above have prepared me to address the serious policy concerns that arise within the School Committee and in the Lynn Public School System.
