Mass Alliance is thrilled to endorse Cesar Stewart-Morales into our rising star program. Cesar is running for City Councilor in District 2 of Framingham. Growing up in Framingham, Cesar has issued countless volunteer hours to various city associations and feels a deeply personal duty to serve his community.
He is a senior member of the finance team of a renewable energy company and has put his accounting experience to good use for the city. He currently serves on the Board of Finance for Edwards Church in Saxonville and is a member of the Finance Committee of the Family Equality Council.
Cesar is a commissioner on the Framingham Human Relations Commission and uses his fluency in English and Spanish; as well as his understanding of Brazilian Portuguese, to eradicate prejudice and discrimination against minority groups. His communication skills will allow him to cultivate stronger lines of communication between the city council and his constituents, as well as with other departments of the city.
His progressive values matched with his financial expertise will lead Framingham into a harmonious and financially sound direction that the city needs.
