Her family immigrated from Brazil, and her father became a restaurant manager. Though her father moved to Florida when she was 17, Stephanie remained behind, working a total of six jobs during her high school years. Though she started out with little savings, she managed to make enough money to get through college, achieving a BA from Harvard University. After graduation, Stephanie went on to help other immigrants coming to the U.S. live the American dream by providing free legal information and representing small claims cases. Stephanie is running because she believes families ,workers and small businesses owners need a strong advocate in city hall. As a city councilor she will be committed to listening and empowering every Everett resident. By protecting the interest of seniors, promoting affordable housing and promoting small business. She will be there for you and for the Everett community.
